Everhot Controllability
We are now halfway thought the summer period and most of us are enjoying the warmer weather, but as an Everhot owner you might be looking at ways to reduce the heat output of the cooker and in the process your running cost. And for those considering an Everhot but would like to upstanding is functionality, we though we would jot down a few point to help existing/potential owners understand how the Everhots functionality can be used in hotter weather.
During the warm period our cooking style changes, more BBQ and salads, and this means you might not need all the Everhots cooking abilities. The Everhot has been cleverly designed to give you as much flexibility you possible need.
Inderpently Controlled
Each part of the Everhot is independently controlled, so in the warmer weather you can turn off the ovens and hotplates you don’t need, leaving on the only required cooking zones. Simply turn off the sections of the cooker you won’t be using, don’t forget you can easily turn them back on in advance if you decide you will doing more cooking, see heat up section before for more details.

ECO PROGRAM SYSTEM
Using the Eco system you can program the on parts of the cooker to drop down to their ECO setting (normally half your cooking setting) at night and then have them come back up to temperature the following morning. You can even delay the ECO program to turn off later in the day, as you might be only later. You can even go a far as having the hotplate coming up to cooking temperatures in the morning but delay the ovens unto 12 hours, e.g. hotplate ready for breakfast and coffee in the morning but you don’t need to start cooking in the ovens untillater in the day. There are very helpful videos on how to change you ECO program setting to suit your needs, you can change these though out the year as the weather change, e.g. in the colder periods most owners like the cooker on throughout the day giving a nice background heat and ready to use. See the videos below for more understanding of the Everhot ECO system. With the New Everhot models you can even change your ECO settings via your phone.
Skip Function
If you know in advance you will not be needing the cooker for that day, you can skip the cooker coming out of it ECO program settings. The video below guides you through the Everhot Skip mode.
Induction Hob
If you are considering an Everhot, a lot of our customer choice a Everhot ‘i’ model with Induction Hob, this means if you have ability to turn the hotplate off or down to a very low temperature, and use the independent Induction Hob instead, which is instant cooking. Don’t forget, even if your Everhot top oven is turndown low you can always use the independently controlled 2.4kW Grill at the top of the oven, perfect if you need to grill something quickly. You grill with the door closed in the Everhot, so you can even use the Grill to boost the top oven temperature quickly up to your required cooking settings.
Heat Up Times
Even though at the heat of it the Everhot design to be on ready for you to use, unlike traditional Heat Storage cookers with their long heat up times of 8 plus hours, the Everhot ovens only take roughly 1.5 - 2 hours to heat up from cold, hotplates 30- 40 minutes, both even less from ECO settings. This means if you have the cooker on very low/off you can have the Everhot up to temperature a lot quicker, that the beauty of the new generation of Heat Storage Range Cookers.
